Cards Simon Says Stamp Stencils Youtube

Yay You Release Blog Hop Day 1

Hello my crafty friends! I’m so excited to be joining Simon Says Stamp in a blog hop featuring their latest release Yay You. Today is Day one of a two day blog hop that all begins on the Simon Says Stamp Blog.

I have a very simple card to share featuring the Orange Blooms stencil and die cut combo. This card if very soothing to me.

VIDEO

I have a video that you can view down below or HERE on my Youtube channel.

I explain my process in detail in the video so down below I will list the main supplies used.

I love this new Orange Blossom stencil. You can use it on its own or with the coordinating die that you can purchase separately or as a bundle.

The inks I’m using are Celery and Pearfection for the branch; Guava and Citrine for the flower; and Peachy and Mandarin for the orange.

I added a bit of ink blending behind my die cuts using the ink that was left on my orange blending brush.

This beautiful sentiment comes from the Arched Borders stamp set stamped in Intense Black ink.

Since the design of the card is fairly simple, I added a bit of embellishments using Clear Quartz Solid Sequins and connect glue.

One of my favorite tools lately is my white gelly roll pen. It’s so great for adding some details to my images.
